I am Susan Scarth, a senior movement psychotherapist with 35 years experience, working in diverse state and voluntary organisations. My private practice, based in Letih, Edinburgh, provides a creative and calm space to explore how to improve your mental and physical health and well-being - reaching a state of ‘bodyfulness’ (C. Caldwell, 2018).
Our body and mind are an integrated system of connecting networks, and movement psychotherapy aims to alleviate blocks, unravel confusions, clarify links between physical and psychological impacts, to reach a more balanced and grounded sense of self.
